DAVIDSON– The Town of Davidson has hired its first healthy living/wellness supervisor.
Leslie Willis, former director of recreational services for Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, began work in the new position June 16.
At Missouri Southern, Willis helped oversee completion of a 71,000-square-foot recreation center and then managed the center and its fitness, wellness and aquatic programs.
She received her B.S. in kinesiology in 1998 from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas, and her M.S. in exercise science in 2000 from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minn. She is a certified American Red Cross instructor.
