HUNTERSVILLE – Incumbent Huntersville Commissioner Charlie Jeter announced this week he will seek a fourth term on the town board.

“After much thought and consideration, along with consultation and approval from my wife, I have decided to run for re-election to the Huntersville Town Board,” Jeter said in an email. “I am very proud of what this town has accomplished over the past six years and strongly believe my voting record supports the values and beliefs of our community. Based on that belief and my knowledge that there are still a great many things needed to do to continue to ensure Huntersville strives to be the best it can be, I am asking the residents of Huntersville to elect me to serve a two-year term in November.”

Jeter operates Intermodal FCL in offices off Northcross Drive. Working with a company in Virginia, Intermodal FCL won a contract last fall as the exclusive provider of transportation and storage of all property seized by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Food and Drug Administration and the Treasury Department in all 50 states and U.S. territories.

Jeter and his wife, Jennifer, have three children, Caroline, Ellie and Charlie Jr.
