DAVIDSON – Davidson College Presbyterian Church, 100 N. Main St., will host an American Red Cross blood drive Sunday, June 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The church asks people interested in donating to schedule appointments through the church office, at 704-892-5641. Bring a photo ID with you. The church will serve made-to-order omelets to all donors.

The church’s Science and Faith reading and discussion group is studying “Science and Faith: From Conflict to Conversation,” by Georgetown University theologian John Haught. Members will discuss chapter 4 – “Is Life Reducible to Chemistry?” – at its monthly meeting June 12 at 7 p.m. in the church parlor. All are welcome.
