HUNTERSVILLE – Fifty-one Bailey Middle School seventh-and-eighth-grade band members traveled to Hershey, Pa., on June 3 to compete against other bands from New York, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania in the 2011 Music in the Parks Festival at Hershey Park.

The students performed three prepared pieces and earned Superior rating, the highest rating possible, based on their tone quality, intonation, rhythm, technique and musicality.
