DAVIDSON – Retired attorney Chapman Cox has joined the McIntosh Law Firm as a legal assistant to the wills, trusts and estate planning team. He and his wife, Jeannette, live in Davidson.


A Harvard Law School graduate, Cox was a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and served on the board of governors of the Colorado Bar Association and chaired its Probate and Trust Law Section. He previously practiced trusts and estates law in Colorado and California.


A former Marine Corps officer, Cox received presidential appointments as assistant secretary of the U.S. Navy, assistant secretary of defense and general counsel of the Department of Defense.
