DAVIDSON – Students will lead Shabbat services Friday, May 6, at 6:30 p.m. at Beth Shalom of Lake Norman, which meets at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Lane.
Rabbi Corey Helfand and Religious School Director Sid Krupkin will lead the students, and a catered dinner follows the service. The dinner costs $12 for members, $15 for nonmembers and $5 for children 6 to 12 years old. Children younger than 6 eat free. Please pre-register for the dinner online at www.bslkn.org. Other activities in May include:
• Saturday, May 7, 9:30 a.m., Shabbat services for adults, youth and children. A free Oneg luncheon follows the service. Reserve a place for lunch online at www.bslkn.org.

• May 19, 4:15 to 6:15 p.m., Lag B’Omer Celebration. This free Israeli-style celebration features Mor Green of the Israeli Defense Forces. Enjoy free hot dogs, other refreshments and Israeli music.
