HUNTERSVILLE – The Women’s Bible Study Group of Huntersville Presbyterian Church is sponsoring Blanket Sunday on Sunday, May 8, which is also Mother’s Day.

The group is asking members of the church at 201 S. Old Statesville Road to donate $5 – or multiples of $5, which will enable Church World Service to provide a blanket to families around the world affected by disasters.

The church will hold a Women’s Brunch on Saturday, May 7, at 10 a.m. Lisa Wilson is coordinating the event, Missy Carlson is speaking and Shannon Roschke will provide music.
