DAVIDSON – Three young adult members of Davidson College Presbyterian Church will share their experiences during a year of service at the church’s Common Grounds café May 15 at 5 p.m.



Madeline Burgess spent a year in Northern Ireland through the Young Adult Volunteers of the Presbyterian Church USA. Rachel Steber worked a year in an immigration office in El Paso, Texas, as part of the Border Servant Corps. Allison Wehrung is spending a year in campus ministry in Nashville, Tenn., also as part of the denomination’s Young Adult Volunteers program.



Common Grounds meets in the church’s Congregation House, and the program wrap-up in time to enjoy the Concert on the Green program. Reserve a seat in the café online at www.dcpc.org. The children’s choirs performed the musical “Rescue in the Night,” about Daniel in the lions’ den, Wednesday, May 4, during the church’s Wednesday Night Live! dinner and program.



The church will hold only one worship service May 15 – at 8:30 a.m. – because of Davidson College’s commencement.



Also, the church’s Science and Faith Discussion Group has changed its next meeting time to June 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
