Football Tech, an elite youth training camp designed to improve the skill level of middle and high school football players, will make a stop at Hough High School Friday, May 6 to Sunday, May 8. Former NFL players expected to serve as camp coaches include Ray Buchanan, Charlie Garner, Don Majkowski, Chris Slade and Lorenzo White, to name a few.
Registration opens Friday at 5 p.m. and the first night of activity ends a 9 p.m. Saturday’s schedule runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday’s activities begin at 7:30 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. Players only need to bring cleats and tennis shoes. The cost of the three-day camp is $495. The registration fee includes three days of training, camp issued t-shirt and shorts, a mouth guard, lunch on Saturday and snack on Sunday, beverages (water and Powerade), a DVD of weekend’s competition and individual performance and a classroom booklet.
