CORNELIUS – Local food producers will re-open the Jetton Village Farmers Market for the 2011 season Friday, May 20.

The market will be open each Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. through Sept. 2, and all the products sold at the market are locally grown or produced. Vendors set up around the green and gazebo in the shopping center at 19826 N. Cove Road, off West Catawba Avenue, at the entrance to the Peninsula community. The center invites people to bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax.
