CORNELIUS – Pawbrokers, a local organization that hosts parties to raise money for animal-rescue groups, will hold its next fundraiser Tuesday, May 24, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Alton’s Kitchen in the Jetton Village shopping center, 19918 N. Cove Road.



The party will benefit Noah’s Ark Rescue, a nonprofit that supplies emergency and surgical care to severely abused animals. Find more information about the organization’s work at its website www.noahs-arks.net.



To participate, Pawbrokers asks women to bring jewelry they no longer wear to the party. If you don’t have any to donate,  you can shop and buy the jewelry others bring, Beer and wine will be served at special prices and Pawbrokers’ Pawtini. Also participate in a drawing for a complimentary one-hour massage at Massage Envy.
