CHARLOTTE – The Mecklenburg-Union Metropolitan Planning Organization, the regional group that sets priorities for road projects is asking the public to comment on its recommendations for transportation projects from 2012 through 2018, as well as its long-range plan through 2035.

The planning agency opened a 30-day comment period on Monday, May 16, and holds one more open house-format meeting on June 7, a Tuesday, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Indian Trail Town Hall, 100 Navajo Trail.
