Do you know a family whose home deserves an Extreme Makeover, or a family who simply deserves a home? Producers of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, starring Ty Pennington, are seeking a N.C. family.

To be eligible, a family must own its single-family home and be able to show producers how a makeover will make a difference in their lives. Interested families or those who wish to nominate another family should e-mail a short description of their family story to castingnorthcarolina@emhe.tv.

Nominations must include the names and ages of each member of the household; a description of major challenges within the home; explanation of why this family is deserving or a positive role model in the community; photos of the family and the home; and a contact phone number.

The deadline for nominations is Aug. 10.
