DAVIDSON – Green Drinks Lake Norman, an informal networking group that connects environmentally minded people, welcomes speakers from the Davidson Farmers Market at its monthly meeting May 26 at the Campania Café, 416 S. Main St. The gathering lasts from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The group will talk about “Growing the local food economy,” including efforts in the slow food, local food and farm-to-table arenas.
