DAVIDSON – As part of its Health Progress program, Ingersoll Rand opened a 1.2-mile walking trail that circles the campus at the company’s Davidson facility.
As part of Earth Day on April 20, employees walked the trail to raise donations for Davidson Lands Conservancy. Those who made a donation could wear jeans and sneakers.
Shelia Savageau, director of global benefits for Ingersoll Rand, presented a $350 check to the conservancy board at its May 16 meeting. Conservancy President Pamela Dykstra thanked Ingersoll Rand “for valuing natural land, for recognizing its health benefits and for encouraging your employees to get outside and experience it.”
