Many north Mecklenburg churches are registering children from their vacation Bible school programs this summer. Here is information received from churches this week:

• Community in Christ Lutheran Church, 7621 Norman Island Drive, Cornelius: June 13 through 16, Monday to Thursday, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., with an optional dinner nightly from 5:30 to 6, for children 3 and older. The summer program – “PandaMania – Where God is wild about you!” – will feature Bible adventures, bamboo blast indoor and outdoor games, arts, crafts and snacks.  Preschoolers will have their own group. • Northside City Church, 8015 Bellhaven Blvd., Charlotte: July 25 through 29, Monday to Friday, 6:30 to 8:30 nightly, for 3- to 11-year-olds. • Davidson United Methodist Church, 233 S. Main St.: June 19 through 23 (extra day for fifth-graders June 24), Sunday through Friday, 6 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon every other day, for 3-year-olds through fifth-graders. Register at the church office. Call 704-892-8277 with questions.
