The average price of gasoline in the Charlotte-metro region dipped this week to $3.87 a gallon. Down 8 cents from last week, prices are still more than $1 higher than the same time last year.
The cheapest price for regular unleaded gasoline so far this week as posted on GasBuddy.com were:
• Tesh’s, 9000 Hambright Road, Huntersville: $3.79
• Marathon, 20008 W. Catawba Ave., Cornelius: $3.82
• Shell, 1300 W. Sugar Creek Road, Charlotte: $3.79
The highest prices were found at:
BP, 101 Statesville Road, Huntersville: $3.94
BP, 18405 Statesville Road, Cornelius: $3.86
