CORNELIUS – Aquesta Bank has teamed up with the nonprofit Cookies for Kids Cancer to host a community bake sale to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

The bake sale began Wednesday, May 11, and continues through Friday, May 13. Employees of the Cornelius-based bank are baking items for the sale, and local residents can support the cause by buying items at any bank branch in Cornelius, Davidson or Mooresville. During the sale, Aquesta also is honoring four children in the Cornelius, Davidson and Mooresville communities who are fighting cancer.
