CORNELIUS – Amanda Proschuk-Landay has opened LaKova Gymnastics in the Jetton Village shopping center, at the corner of Jetton and Old Jetton roads.

Proschuk-Landay said she is the first gymnastics facility to offer class for children as young as 12 months, which is called TOTS/Mommy & Me, for children 12 months to 3 years old. LaKova also offers preschool and recreational gymnastics, tumbling, kids fitness, ballet basics, jazz/lyrical, cheer basics and team classes, as well as half-day camps and birthday parties.

Proschuk-Landay, who has more 20 years of experience coaching and competing in gymnastics and dance, said her facility will keep preschool ratios of 4 students to each teacher and recreational class at a 6-to-1 ratio.
