The inspiring story of the Hopewell boys tennis team will continue to the NCHSAA 4A state quarterfinals. The Titans defeated Greensboro Grimsley 5-1 in the second round to advance deeper in the dual-team playoffs than any team in school history. Hopewell’s Tyler Roberts, Brian Andersen, John Armato, Danny Wintermeier and Chris Hourihan won singles matches. The Titans (18-3) will host Ardrey Kell on Tuesday, May 17 in the quarterfinals.
