SouthLake Christian Academy eighth-grader Hamilton Hewitt won gold at the North Carolina USA championship last February and advanced to Nationals in Iowa where he finished in the top-15 of his weight class. The 132-pounder also won gold at the North Carolina AAU championship in March and finished third in the AAU National Championship in Tennessee last April.
