The CSA 99 Cabarrus Elite girls (out of North Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius, Univeristy area and Concord) have done it again, winning their second “Grand Slam” in the world of youth soccer.  Earlier this season, they were crowned champions in the U11 division of the Disney Junior Showcase, and they have folllowed up that performance with another outstanding showing at the prestigious Jefferson Cup in Richmond, Virginia. The Jefferson Cup is currently ranked as the No. 2 tournament in the country by Got Soccer.

Being selected as one of the teams that gets to play in the top flight of the Jefferson Cup is an honor, and their showing at the Disney Junior Showcase in November played a big role in securing their spot in Richmond.  They had to defeat the top teams from Georgia, Maryland, and  Tennessee to get to the championship, where they defeated New England FC (Massachusetts No. 1 team), 2-1.
