HUNTERSVILLE – Brownie Troop 632, based at Huntersville United Methodist Church, collected paper products for the Hope House shelter for homeless women and children. Val Daye, program director for the Hope House, gave the girls a tour of the home and explained the valuable assistance groups like the Girl Scouts provide. The Scouts already are thinking of other ways to support the nonprofit.
