CONCORD – Doug Herbert Performance and Herbert’s nonprofit BRAKES program will open a new location adjacent to Charlotte Motor Speedway on April 11.

The high-performance warehouse has operated in Lincolnton since 1991.

BRAKES is a 501(c)(3) charity Herbert founded in 2008 in memory of his two sons, who were killed in a car accident. The nonprofit has provided free, advanced driver training to more 2,000 teenagers from 15 different states.
