CHARLOTTE – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools’ Parent University will hold a family fun and education day on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Uptown Charlotte’s Cultural Mile (from 500 S. Tryon St. to 721 N. Tryon St.).

Parent University invites families to become educated consumers of Charlotte’s thriving arts and cultural community. During the day participants will enjoy mini workshops for parents and students, student performances from more than 14 schools, hands-on arts and cultural experiences, access to museums, arts and cultural venues and information for parents on strategies for using arts and cultural resources as extended learning tools.
