CORNELIUS – Grace Covenant Church, 17301 Statesville Road, will host a Port-a-Pit chicken barbecue Saturday, April 9, from 11 a.m. until sold out as a fundraiser for its mission teams.

Each $9 plate, available for dine-in or takeout, includes half-chicken, beans, slaw, a roll and drink. Desserts sold separately.
