HUNTERSVILLE – The Torrence Creek Elementary Parent-Teacher Association has been awarded a $3,000 gift from Educational Products Inc.

after meeting the early deadline for signing the school’s supply contract with the company.

All schools throughout the country that met the deadline participated in a drawing for the award. Two schools, including Torrence Creek, were selected. Shannon Vecchiarello, Torrence Creek PTA publicity chair, said the organization will look into a variety of options on how to best use the money for the school.
