HUNTERSVILLE – First Baptist Church-Huntersville, 119 N. Old Statesville Road, will hold a baptismal service May 15. Anyone interested in being baptized should contact the church pastor, the Rev. Doug Danner.

Fourteen youth and four adults with the church’s One Voice Choir are taking a trip to Washington, D.C., June 19 to 25, and the youth need to earn money to cover the cost. Church member Kenon Bates auditioned and was selected to participate in the 2011 N.C. Baptist All-State Youth Choir, comprised of about 90 high school students. The group will travel on tour July 17 to 24.
