The SouthLake Christian Academy baseball team earned its 20th win on April 26, defeating Hickory Grove, 9-2, in a matchup that decided the Metrolina Athletic Conference regular season championship. SouthLake finished 13-1 for the second consecutive season, winning back-to-back titles. Runner up Hickory grove fell to 12-2 in the league.
