Lake Norman Charter track athlete Chris Hack ran a personal best and claimed a new school record in the 800-meter run on April 9 at the Villain Relays in Kernersville. Hack finished the event with a time of 2 minutes, 1.3 seconds to win the race. Knights’ track coach Craig Zamiara said Hack is ranked second in the state at the 1A level in the 800-meter run. Zack was also part of Lake Norman Charter’s third-place distance medley relay at the Villain Relays.
