HUNTERSVILLE – Residents of the Vermillion neighborhood will celebrate Earth Day with a 1-mile walk and clean up around the neighborhood Thursday, April 21.

Earth Fare, the grocery chain preparing to open a new store on Gilead Road, is sponsoring the event with a make-your-own trail mix station and other goodies. Megan Senn is Earth Fare’s new store and community relations manager.
