HUNTERSVILLE – Members of Junior Girl Scout Troop 3448 in Huntersville decided to earn their Bronze Award by conducting a clothing drive to benefit Lydia’s Loft, based at First Baptist Church-Huntersville. The girls designed flyers for the drive, collected clothes in the NorthStone community April 12 and then sorted them. Lydia’s Loft provides free clothing to the needy in north Mecklenburg and south Iredell counties.Girls participipating were: Gwen DeYoe, Paige Powell, Deanna Lizotte, Sarah Schriefer, Rebecca LePage, Julia Schriefer, Bailey Law, Megan Buffington and Olivia Cerick.
