Proceeds from the event will go to W.I.S.H. Program, a Charlotte-based nonprofit organization, working to eradicae homelessness in the Charlotte area.
After the event, racers are encouraged to hang around for the Green Goats & Gardens, an annual event celebrating ‘green’ innovations in the area. That event begins at 11 a.m. and will feature a kid parade, face painting, a bike rodeo, gardening exhibits and ecological education.
