DAVIDSON – The Lake Norman Community Development Council, a volunteer organization comprised of nonprofits in north Mecklenburg and south Iredell counties, has installed new officers for 2011-12.  They are: Rory Crawford, chair; Stacey Riemer, vice chair; and Joyce Brooks, secretary.



Crawford is executive director of Healthreach Community Clinic in Mooresville. Riemer is associate dean of students and director of civic engagement at Davidson College, and Brooks serves as director of The Solomon House in Huntersville. Established more than a decade ago, the council includes more than 50 nonprofit service providers that share information and discuss issues affecting housing, health care, education and social/family issues in Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville and Mooresville and the surrounding area.
