CORNELIUS – Cornelius Elementary School is seeking speakers for the school’s Career Day the morning of May 27. Volunteers will go to five fourth- and fifth-grade classrooms, where they will speak for 20 minutes about their careers and hold a five-minute question-and-answer session. Volunteers can speak to fewer classes if they cannot stay the full morning.

All volunteers must register with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, unless he or she has already received clearance from the district. To register, go to the district’s website, www.cms.k12.nc.us, and click on the “Volunteers and Partners” button at the top of the page. Then click on the New Volunteer button at the bottom left of the page and complete the form. Be sure to use the pull-down menu to list Cornelius Elementary.
