Huntersville’s Luke Brown was a big winner at the United States Team Roping Championships (USTRC) Texas Championships, which were held April 14-17 in San Antonio, Texas.
Brown won the Open Division with partner Martin Lucero of Stephenville, Texas, defeating 43 other teams. The duo roped five steers in 38.15 seconds to split a $2,860 paycheck from the $8,602 total purse.
