DAVIDSON – Kim Fleming, interim downtown manager since October, has accepted the position of downtown manager with the Town of Davidson.
In her short tenure as interim, Fleming has spearheaded the Halloween March and Christmas in Davidson; begun planning for the Gallery Crawl, Art on the Green, Concerts on the Green and Town Day; and started work on a visitor’s website.
Fleming, who moved to Davidson five years ago, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Miami University of Ohio and has 13 years of marketing experience with a Fortune 500 company in New York City and Charlotte. Most recently, she served as the fundraising co-chair for the Davidson Public Library campaign, which raised more than $210,000, far exceeding its $175,000 goal.
