CORNELIUS – Great Dane Rescue of the Carolinas is sponsoring a Dine for the Danes fundraiser Saturday, April 16, from noon to 5 p.m. at Tenders Fresh Foods, 18341 Statesville Road.

Tenders will donate a percentage of its sales to help the rescue group’s homeless dogs. The animal rescue group also needs donations of dog beds and blankets, plastic bins to store blankets, towels, sheets, toys, treats (no rawhides), elevated dog dishes, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish soap, hand sanitizer and first-aid supplies for dogs and people.
