DAVIDSON – The Davidson-Cornelius Child Development Center 5K & Fun Run takes place May 7, as part of Davidson’s Town Day celebration.

The fundraiser for the nonprofit child-care center begins with a 1-mile fun run for families at 8:30 a.m. and continues with a 5K run through the town at 9 a.m. Prizes will go to the top runners, and local schools are competing to see which group gets the most people to participate.
