More than 470 third-, fourth- and fifth-grade students participated in this year’s science fair at Blythe Elementary School. “I actually felt like a real scientist,” said fifth-grade Joshua Miller, a first-prize winner, who mummified a hot dog using baking soda. “I like mummies, and I like hot dogs, so it was the perfect project for me.”
