With a 14-0 win over Mooresville on April 6, the Lake Norman Charter boys lacrosse team qualified for the N.C. High School Athletic Association state playoffs. Boasting a 5-0 mark in Conference 10, the Knights earned one of the league’s two automatic bids.



On April 8, the Knights (8-4 overall) fell to Virginia powerhouse Williamsburg LC, 12-11, but rebounded on April 9 to beat highly regarded Forsyth Country Day, 8-3. Goalie John Clark was stellar against Forsyth Country Day with 13 saves on 21 shots. Midfielder Jake Koferl led all scorers with three goals, while Andrew Gobble and Matt Wine added two each.
