The Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville parks and recreation departments, along with the North Mecklenburg Senior Center, will hold the fifth-annual Lake Norman Senior Fun and Fitness Day on Tuesday, April 19, at Cornelius’ Jetton Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event gives adults 55 and older the opportunity to take a fitness walk around Jetton Park and participate in activities at pre-arranged stations along the trail. Festivities include a 1.4-mile fitness walk, blood pressure screenings and 15 fitness stations.

Pre-registration, which ends Friday, April 15, is $3 per participant. The registration fee on the day of the event is $5. For more information, contact the North Mecklenburg Senior Center at 704-892-4041.
