CORNELIUS – The Lake Norman YMCA, 21300 Davidson St., invites everyone to Family Fun Day, a free lakefront event April 9, a Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Enjoy archery, sports games, bounce houses, canoeing, face painting, arts and crafts and hot dogs and other treats. Sara Lee and People’s Bank are underwriting the event.

This summer, the YMCA’s Lake Cornelius waterfront space will host many activities, including summer day camp, the annual triathlon and adaptive water skiing for people with disabilities.
