HUNTERSVILLE – Sue Myrick, the longtime Republican congresswoman from Charlotte, will speak April 11, a Monday, at the North Mecklenburg Republican Women’s meeting at NorthStone Club, 15801 NorthStone Drive.

U.S. House leadership recently appointed Myrick chairwoman of the House Intelligence Subcommittee on Terrorism, Human Intelligence, Analysis and Counter Intelligence and vice chairwoman of the Energy and Commerce Committee. In her eighth term, Myrick serves as the Republican deputy whip of the 112th Congress.
