CORNELIUS – The Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville parks and recreation departments and the North Mecklenburg Senior Center are inviting all adults 55 and older to the fifth annual Lake Norman Senior Fun and Fitness Day on April 19.

The event and takes place on a Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jetton Park, 16000 Jetton Road. Seniors will have the chance to take a 1.4-mile walk around Jetton Park and participate in activities at 15 fitness stations along the trail.

Enjoy a healthy lunch and get your blood pressure checked. Organizers ask seniors to pre-register for $3 up until April 15. Registration the day of the event costs $5. For more information or to pre-register, call the senior center at 704-892-4041.
