HUNTERSVILLE – The husband-wife financial firm Huneycutt & Associates has moved its offices to the historic Smith House at 200 S. Old Statesville Road, suite 101.

Ron and Marlene Huneycutt are certified public accounts who worked in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., before forming their own firm in Huntersville about three years ago. Managing Partner Ron Huneycutt is a Charlotte native, and the company had operated its office in the Mail & Biz Center on Market Square Drive.

Ron Huneycutt started his career with the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand, now Price Waterhouse Coopers, and served as a partner in the Miami office for 17 years. Marlene Huneycutt worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers for 13 years and, for the past 10 years, served as vice president of finance and treasurer of Aurafin LLC, now part of Richline Group, in the wholesale gold jewelry business.
