The Lake Norman Charter boys lacrosse team has defeated Hough High School twice this season. On March 25, the Knights outscored Hough 14-10 to improve their record to 6-2. Midfielder Jake Koferl set a school record with 10 points in the match, including seven goals and three assists. The junior leads the team with 28 goals. He also scored two goals in the Knights’ 10-5 win over the Huskies on March 11.



Midfielder Andrew Gobble tops the team with 17 assists. The Knights’ second-leading scorer is Brad McDonnell with 20 goals. Goalie John Clark already has 73 saves. He had 22 in two matches against the Huskies and a season-high 17 in a March 23 win over South Mecklenburg.
