The Lake Norman Charter boys golf team won its fifth match in six tries, taking a non-conference victory at Birkdale Golf Club on March 28 against Woodlawn School, 164-193.

The Knights were led by co-captains Jake Blum and Sean Murphy. Blum shot his career-best 2-over-par 38. Murphy carded a 40 in cold, rain-soaked conditions. John O’Connell led Woodlawn with a 42.
