Bailey Middle School students made 925 sandwiches Feb. 15 as part of Operation Sandwich, an initiative of the Charlotte Urban Ministry Center.

The Urban Ministry Center, an interfaith organization that mobilizes the community to help the homeless, gives out 800 sandwiches daily. The Bailey Middle School students teamed up to make enough sandwiches for a whole day, and exceeded their goal by 125 sandwiches.
