The Herald Weekly is proud to welcome back one of its founding members in her new position as Huntersville-area sales representative.
In 2002, Cindy Dorman helped start the Huntersville Herald, The Herald Weekly’s predecessor.
Starting this week, Dorman will oversee sales for the Huntersville area, helping to keep the Herald the most relevant newspaper in Lake Norman.
“I’m fortunate to work for a growing company whose business model is second to none,” Dorman said. “With our audited weekly circulation of 25,000 and our commitment to supporting the community of Huntersville, I’m confident that we can help our local businesses grow, and I delight in being an integral part of that process.”
Dorman had been working as the sales representative for the Herald’s sister paper, the Mooresville Weekly, and helped its growth blossom in its first year of publication.
Dorman has been active in the Huntersville community for 22 years and with Lake Forest Church.

Dorman’s arrival follows the announcement last week of the Herald’s new Publisher Phyllis Rozzelle, another longtime area resident with deep ties to the community.
